I originally created a version of this artwork back in 2010, I think. I’ve gone back over it a couple times since then but I think this time I finally have it looking exactly right. The new details really add to the glamour of the scene and I adjusted the poses to look more realistic/passionate. This has always been one of my favorites, even after I almost lost it on my hard drive, so I’m glad I was able to breathe new life into it.
I used several adjustment layers and texture overlays to give the scene that “classic film noir” feel. I rendered the scene in Poser in full color then converted it to a high contrast black and white using a filter in Photoshop. The spotlight was rendered in Poser. I added a couple texture overlays to give it more depth and a more gritty feel. Very little other postwork was needed.
