Notes:
In this scene inspired by the Penguins I purchased from Hivewire3D, we see a line of cute Adelie penguins heading for the sea. I had fun posing them to look like they were “happily” marching towards the sea. I also used a few reference photos from National Geographic so I could figure out how best to pose them so they looked realistic. I may make another artwork or two with these or other penguins in that set because they are so damn cute!
Technical Notes:
I experimented with rendering this both in Superfly and Firefly but in the end decided that Superfly looked best. I rendered the depth of field effects using the Poser Superfly. In postwork, I applied a couple actions to alter the colors and contrast, applied a Topaz filter to enhance clarity, and finally added a snowy, film-like border to the piece.
