I have a poster of the original version of this artwork from 2011 on my wall and every time I looked at it, I could see what I did wrong. It continued to bother me to the point that I finally decided to give it another shot to improve and fix all that I messed up before so I created a new version in 2012. Once again I kept looking at it and seeing all that was wrong with it so I knew I needed to give it one more try at some point. So, here’s the new final version of Nightclub Noir. I replaced the Genesis figure from the 2012 version with V4 with a new dynamic gown and a sultry, sexier pose. The lighting and postwork was also improved.
Once again, I love dynamic cloth! Calculating the dynamics of the singer’s gown actually took longer than rendering the final scene (two hours vs. half an hour). It still wasn’t perfect but thankfully Poser 11 Pro has that wonderful morph tool to fix things like this! (Fixed a couple poke-throughs and smoothed some rough edges.) Unlike the last two versions, I created a volumetric spotlight on the singer in Poser rather than postworking a spotlight. In postwork, I enhanced the contrast, added the detail smoke, and added a very slight sepia tint so it isn’t completely black and white while having even more of a vintage feel.
Each artwork is printed by professional printers so that your prints will look amazing and last a lifetime. The prints will be printed on a metallic fine art paper that creates stunning, vibrant prints with high contrast. Artworks were created at and will be printed at 300ppi for crisp detail. Some color variation may arise due to differences in computer monitors/mobile devices and display settings. Prints will look as the artist intends and be shipped ready for framing. The “Copyright Lizzie Prusaczyk www.d9s.co” watermark seen on preview images will not be on the printed image. A small “signature” will be faintly visible on the lower left corner. I try to make sure that my digital signature does not distract from the artwork and is only just visible enough so that you will always know who the artist was who created the artwork.
