Notes:
Milo is a character for L’Homme that I finished last week (now available at Renderosity). I wanted to create an artwork to show him off and this is what I came up with. It also shows off two of the clothing texture sets I made for L’Homme (Dreamy Denim and Dreamy Shirts) which aren’t available yet but should be released to my Renderosity store in the coming days/weeks. I tried to create a “Harrison Ford grin” on him but it was hit or miss. I have the hardest time creating expressions on La Femme and L’Homme for some reason. I also thought about adding a few more details like a mouse scurrying across the floor or something but decided to leave it as is so as not to detract from Milo.
Technical Notes:
I rendered this artwork in the Superfly render engine with depth of field on. The lighting and props are all from a set by DM called “What a Man” for L’Homme. Postwork was minimal. I added some fog with Rons brushes then edited the colors/contrast with some actions and adjustment layers. I finished the piece by adding a thin grunge border and vignette effect to soften the edges.
