Have I mentioned lately that I love autumn? Oh, I have? What about my love for apples? That too, huh? Well, I’m mentioning it all again because I love autumn and here’s an artwork in a frickin’ apple orchard! LOL This one took a while to render due to all the grass and leaves but it was well worth it in the end. I think I’m getting better at lighting in Superfly, finally. It’s not perfect but I still want to put a print of it on my wall. 🙂
I rendered this scene in Poser 11 Superfly with depth of field turned on. Due to all the high-res grass and trees, it took a day and a half to render!! Still, it was a worth it in the end. For the light setup, I had one point light working as the “sun” plus an area light to work as a rim light behind her to strengthen the power of my sun light. I then added another area light in the front to illuminate her face and the front of the scene slightly without overpowering the effects of my sun light(s). In postwork, I messed with the colors and contrast very little on my own then took it into ON1 Effects where I enhanced the image further and added the main sunflare effect. Back in Photoshop I enhanced the sunflare effect with another lensflare effect or two of my own to make it look even better.
