This is a complete re-imagining of an artwork I originally created in 2009. At the time I came up with this idea, I was very sick because I had quit taking my medications cold turkey after they had made me feel worse. Not good to mess with one’s brain chemicals like that because some crazy shit can happen. I was having all sorts of weird ideas and thoughts at the time. At least the idea for this artwork came to me because of it… it’s a wonder the experience didn’t kill me or worse.
Believe it or not, the light setup used for this artwork is actually the default light setup for Poser 11 Pro. I was just setting up my scene and hadn’t started work on lighting it yet when I realized how cool and perfect the lighting already was. I doubt I’ve ever used default lighting before! In postwork I used Topaz Adjust filter, some Photoshop actions, a grunge overlay, and a few adjustment layers to finish the artwork. I also used a brush by Rons to “crack” the glass of her broken flashlight.
