Notes:
I started the day working on something completely different but I got frustrated with that scene so I then decided to create something different and Halloweenie with my brand new D9S Lilla Goth Doll. That’s when this scene came about. I like the cool cyan tones with the enhanced deep reds in this scene. The hardest part of this was positioning the cobwebs and spiderwebs given that I’m slightly arachnophobic. (Those cobwebs actually came with bonus spider models. I deleted all the spider models from the zip file before installing it into my Poser library so there was no chance of me seeing them!)
Technical Notes:
I used the Render Studio 2014 HDR lights for this scene but the base scene still didn’t look great. I took it into Photoshop and heavily adjusted the render’s colors and contrast while using a color smoothing technique I came up with several years ago. I also added some extra bats to the window’s background and added a thin border or two.
