I started out just by playing around with the Xmas Delight Poser Props by digiPixel along with several other Renderosity purchases I made around the same time last year and then I came up with this scene. It’s only the first of December and I now already have my holiday card finished. That’s got to be a record time for me as I’m usually a month behind! LOL
The scene was rendered with the Render Studio 2014 Winter Ice lights by Colm formerly of RuntimeDNA. The lights include an ambient occlusion setting which needed to be adjusted because I was getting a faded black grid over all of my snow. I adjusted the pose then used the Perfect V4 morphs to give the elf more realistic bends in her limbs. I used Poser 11 Pro’s morph tool to fit the clothing to the new bends and smooth out the many poke-thrus. I used Poser’s in-app depth of field effects rather than creating the effect in postwork. I then edited the colors with some Photoshop actions and created the decorative border and overlay snow effect.
