New and to be Improved
I’ve been working on a new Art Shop to match the new/current Dream 9 Studios. The new shop has several new improvements on the software side including a new security certificate (that means the information you send via the connection to the shop is secure and can’t be read by outside parties). The Art Shop has a new URL which is https://artshop.d9s.co/
I’ll soon be adding new products created with my artworks. I found an affordable place to get canvas prints so I’ll soon be offering canvas prints once I figure out the technical details like shipping, etc. I will also be offering posters, puzzles, magnets, stickers, journals, and a few other things. Near the end of the year I will start offering a custom calendar for 2017 featuring my best artworks from 2016 and 2015. I am also working on a coffee table book of my best artworks from my entire gallery. I’ll release more information on all of those products and projects when they are closer to being ready. Stay tuned!
Here is my newest artwork, Piedra del Sol. It’s actually a promotional artwork for my Shelby Bly Project graphic novel project. This new artwork is also available in the D9S Art Shop as high quality prints.
I’m starting work today on some new artworks including some ideas for the current Renderosity Halloween Contest which the theme is basically anything with ghosts, goblins, and other ghoulies. I have about three or four ideas that fit with that theme so I’ll start work on all of them today then pick the best one to submit to the contest. The rest (if they are good enough to be posted) will be posted to my gallery here. As for the one I submit to the contest, I’ll have to wait until the contest is over before I can post it to my gallery here.
I am also working on a Redux Art section. In that section I will show the older artworks that I’ve recreated, compare them to their newer versions, and explain why they recreated. I’ve about finished the template for the pages then I’ll start creating and writing the new pages. They will be posted as they are finished. I hope you will enjoy this new section and that it will give you a better understanding of my art and process.
As you may have noticed if you have visited the Art Galleries since yesterday, I have altered the layout of each artwork page. Now there’s no more cropped image at the top and the main artwork image is a rounded square instead of a circle. If you have any problems with the site or any suggestions for more improvements, please leave a comment on this blog entry or contact me.
I have a few more improvements planned but I need your help. I would like to add higher resolution artwork images to this site’s gallery and either completely remove or significantly decrease the appearance of the watermarks on all the artworks. To do this, I will need to buy and install a new bit of software and that’s not cheap. I can’t afford to buy it myself so I need your help. If you would appreciate seeing much larger, higher resolution artworks without watermarks, please consider donating to the site so I can implement these improvements. Any amount at all would be greatly appreciated. As soon as I have enough to buy the new software, I will install and implement it immediately. Thank you.
