Getting back to being an artist has been excellent therapy for me. The work is comforting to a degree and helps me cope with the extreme difficulties of my current reality. It is because of that, mainly, that it’s basically become full steam ahead in regards to my work as an artist. I’ve been creating new artworks both for my gallery and for several contests plus creating new products for the Renderosity Marketplace like never before. Read on to find out all that’s new in this update for August 2021.
First off, I have three brand new products now in the Renderosity Marketplace with more on the way! You can click the images below to see their showcase pages here on D9S in my new Marketplace Showcase gallery or click the following links to see them directly on Renderosity: D9S Fiona for La Femme, Dreamy Wrapkini, and D9S Kareem for L’Homme. I have more new products in the works and will probably be posting another WIP post soon with some of my new in-the-works projects.
I also have four new artworks for you, one of which was created for an art contest in which I won 2nd place! Yay! The four new artworks are Storytime, Fun in the Sun, Portrait of Fiona, and The Beat Goes On. The contest entry piece that won 2nd place is Fun in the Sun. I’ve actually created three additional artworks but they are for the current Renderosity contests and therefore I can’t publish them yet. I’ll be able to after the contests and hopefully I’ll be able to say I placed somewhere in said contests when I do publish them. I plan to create another contest entry today for another Renderosity contest (there’s so many good ones right now!) and then I’ll work on some regular artworks for my gallery and then it will be back to work on products for the marketplace. The winners of the Renderosity Swimsuit Contest will be announced tomorrow. Cross your fingers and toes as I have two entries in that contest!
So yeah, my muse has returned and is more active than ever; I’m guessing she’s making up for lost time? I’m churning out new artworks (pretty good ones) and new commercial products (also pretty good and rather original) at an almost unbelievable rate and it’s making me quite happy. I’m even working on a digital clone of my beloved Aayla (a prototype of you can see in my above mentioned artwork The Beat Goes On). For now, it’s back to work for me!
