April Previews Part 2
I was originally going to wait until next month to have another WIP update post but I have started so many brand new projects that I want to show you now. So, here is April Previews Part 2 with even more projects that I have in the works plus updates on the projects I showed you in my previous entry.
First off, my completely updated and vastly improved D9S Zeeva for La Femme is now live in the Renderosity Marketplace! Joining her in the Marketplace is D9S Milo for L’Homme! I submitted my Dreamy Denim for L’Homme not long ago so it should hopefully go through testing soon. Stay tuned to Dream 9 Studios via this website or the D9S Twitter feed for updates on when these and all my future products will be available.
This won’t be a brand new product but a free update to all past and future purchasers of my D9S Myla for La Femme. I have updated her material presets so they look fantastic in both Superfly and Firefly with only one set of presets plus I created new normals maps for her entire body. I also created brand new texture maps for her eyes and did a few other little things here and there. If you purchased Myla in the past, you should be getting an email notifying you of an update to her product files. I will also be updating all of her promotional renders on her product page with new Superfly renders to reflect all the changes. The update should be ready some time today if it isn’t already.
Next up is another new character (and probably my last until I can come up with another really good idea) for La Femme. She’s a lovely Hindi girl whom will have glamorous Bollywood makeups and mehndi tattoos. I’m thinking I will name her Priya but I haven’t decided for sure yet. I’m still perfecting her facial morphs but I have her base skin textures mostly finished. I will next create her makeups, eye options, and tattoos. I hope to have her done sometime later this month. I’m also hoping that by that time some wonderful clothing modeler will have created a sari outfit or similar but best not to count on it until it happens, if it happens.
Next up are my clothing projects! First, we have textures for the dynamic L’Homme Shirt by Tipol. This set includes both an open shirt and a closed shirt (which have different UVs which means double the texture work for me). I have most of the textures ready and they include five sets of flannel shirts and five retro silk shirts. I think that’s all I will include in this set because that’s already over 100MB of texture files. Maybe I could make a second set as well? I’ll have to think more about that. I bet these will go well with my earlier Dreamy Denim for L’Homme set of jeans and shorts! Oh yeah, I will probably be calling this set Dreamy Shirts for L’Homme.
This is a design for a set I am making for the RPublishing Fantasy Wedding Gown for La Femme. I worked and reworked the texture set at right over the course of several hours yesterday and I’m still not satisfied with it. I’ll keep at it until I can come up with some designs that I am happy with. At the very least, I need to rework the material shaders and tweak the textures some more for the shown design. I plan on creating several different designs for this set. It will probably be called Dreamy Wedding for La Femme.
I have a few more texture sets planned for some other clothing models including two more dynamic clothing models by Tipol. I’m also working on creating new artworks so I don’t get burned out just making commercial content. In addition to all of that, I am continuing to brainstorm ideas to improve my Patreon benefits for patrons. I’m writing some introduction tutorials right now that I will turn into videos for patrons. I have my screen recording software and my microphone ready so once I finish writing the tutorials, I’ll be ready and able to actually make them.
That’s all for now as I have a lot of work to do! Thank you for viewing and I hope to have more for you to see soon.
