I’ve been on hiatus since mid-June but now, in mid-August, just out of the blue decided to get back into my art work after being inspired to by a friend of mine who goes by the moniker BellaDark. This particular artwork is a redux of one I first created in 2017 but was never completely satisfied with. Back in May or early June of this year, I started working on the redux of it by creating a new scene inspired by the old but then abandoned it when I went on hiatus. Yesterday, I opened the scene back up and realized all I really needed to do was make a few small adjustments, render, and postwork. So, that’s just what I did.
Technical Notes:
I didn’t use the same scene as the one I used in 2017 as I couldn’t find it. I created a brand new scene using similar elements although I replaced V4 from the original with La Femme in this version. I also rendered this version in Superfly with a simple sky dome and single sun light for lighting. Rendering took quite a while due to all the grass and other transparencies that needed to be rendered. In postwork I used my brand new plugin, ON1 Effects to add some new oomph to this piece then a Photoshop action and some adjustment layers plus a thin border. That’s it!
