I have had this idea in my head ever since I saw the Looking Glass set by Biscuits over at Renderosity. It stars my D9S Lilla character as a tiny Alice wandering curiously into the looking glass. I added in elements from some other complimentary sets to make it look as colorful and psychedelic as possible. I thought I had this artwork done back in January or 2019 but it had a few errors in it (I forgot to turn on the shadows for her hair, for example). So today I finally fixed those errors and rendered the new final version.
Technical Notes:
I used one of the included pre-built scenes included with the Looking Glass set along with the included IDL light setup. The dress on Lilla is dynamic cloth which made it a little tricky to adapt to her much smaller than standard frame but I managed with a lot of trial and error. The camera has a focal length of 25 to give it a bit of a fish-eye lens effect. In postwork, I enhanced the colors to be even more bold and then added a thin border.
