This started out as test of my Harper character in Superfly last year when I was creating her. I then liked the test so much I made it the main product promo for her. A couple days ago I reopened that scene file and decided to add some more details to it and create a full artwork out of it. I added a background, adjusted her pose, updated her material shaders, and tweaked a few other things here and there. It took me forever to come up with a decent title for this piece as in it just came to me three minutes ago.
I once again used Superfly Studio to create the light setup for this scene and rendered it fully in Superfly. After rendering, I took the render into Photoshop and used a variety of adjustment layers to enhance the color and stylized look of the piece. I tried to enhance the artwork without changing it too much from the raw render. I then finished the artwork by adding a thin black grunge border and my copyright watermark.
