Year End Review
First off, what’s new? I have a brand new artwork ready for viewing titled The Gorgon Medusa which is now in the Dream 9 Studios gallery and is also available as high quality prints. That will probably be my last artwork of 2018 as now I’m going to let my computer, and myself, rest a bit.
I also released a new product at Renderosity, Dreamy Intrigue which is on sale now! My entire Renderosity store is on sale now for 50% off until 2019! Check it out today and pickup some high quality goodies for you own art projects!
Now for the year in review! I had a lot of ups and downs in 2018 but it seems that the year will end on a high note. My health, which I discuss in more detail on my personal blog I’m On Dream 9, is finally improving and that is why I am now more productive than ever. It’s because of this that I’m hopeful for an even better and more productive 2019. I hope you’ll join me in the new year as well.
In 2018, I created over 30 new artworks. That’s the most I’ve created since at least 2012 or perhaps even 2009 as those were both rather productive years. Granted, I did have several months during the year where I was feeling down and didn’t create anything during those months. I’m hopeful that my current good/productive mood will last and that I’ll be able to top this new artwork record by creating way more than 30 artworks in 2019.
I also created four new commercial content products which includes two characters and two clothing texture add-ons. Most of the commercial content was created in November and December of 2018. I have more products in the pipeline for 2019 and even more on my to-do and ideas lists. 2019 is promising to be a very productive year as long as my health holds up!
My main goal for 2019 is to keep going at the pace (or at least close to the pace) that I’m going right now. I want to create many more new artworks, commercial content, and other art projects in the new year. My “notebook of ideas” is full of many brand new ideas for new artworks and more and I hope to create as many of those new ideas as I can next year. I’ll be sure to do everything I can to make sure I am able to achieve this goal.
And that’s a wrap for 2018. I look forward to having more art to share with you in 2019. Thank you as always for viewing and I wish you a safe and happy new year.
